  • Can I do a sponsored rafting event at the National White Water Centre?

Yes! We are a not-for-profit organisation, and we are very happy to help other organisations to raise money for their own good causes. Tell us what your plans are, and together we'll work out how to build the package that suits you.

  • There are only one or two of us. Can we still raise money for charity through rafting?

Yes, of course you can. Rafts can take up to 6 people, but it's perfectly possible to book only 1 or 2 spaces. If you would like to use your space and charity fundraise, seeking sponsorship for your participation, we'd be very happy to help you. Tell us a bit more about what you're up to, and we'll see how we can help you achieve your goal, and perhaps share it through our social media channels.

  • What's the maximum number of people that we can bring for a charity rafting event?

Over the years, we have hosted a number of large charity events, occasionally booking the entire site for one enormous fundraiser, such as Red Nose Day.

On such occasions, it has been possible to have more than 250 rafters, with many more spectating on the riverside - although, obviously each individual group's time on the water may be limited with very large group numbers.

In the past, charity organisers have chosen to run timed races encouraging local firms to bring a team to compete against each other, for a prize and raising thousands of pounds as well as having a fantastic day out.

Whatever the size of your charity event, we'd be happy to help you achieve it.

  • Do you ever give away whitewater rafting gift vouchers as charity raffle prizes?

We're a not-for-profit organisation, and we firmly believe in the notion of paying it forward. Obviously, there has to be a limit, but we do our best to help as much as we possibly can. Contact us and we'll see what we can do to help you.
